Just like you, journalling is our hobby, too. We will always make mature, considered decisions when customers are concerned in our hobby business. We will respond professionally and with empathy. Notwithstanding, we must press our refund policies so we can continue to run our store according to our long term vision. Our refund policies are described below as well as on the Shipping page:

Damaged or incorrect items

If any items in your order arrives damaged, the product is faulty or it wasn't what you ordered, please contact us immediately and within 7 calendar days of receiving them. Please include the image of the damaged/faulty/incorrect items and the receipt or proof of purchase in the email and do not open or use the product. We will honour any obligation to refund you under the Australian Consumer Law. 

Wrong selection or change of mind

We do not refund or exchange products that are wrongly selected or you have changed your mind. We always suggest that you buy only what you really like. If you are unsure whether to proceed to purchase any item from our shop, the better option would be to contact us to discuss your thoughts before committing to purchase. We find this is best for everyone. 


If you are entitled to a refund, once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within the timeframes of the financial merchants involved. 

Sale Items

Sale items (items with a price strikethrough) or Monologue Subscription boxes cannot be refunded. But we will always refund you in full if it is incumbent on us under any applicable law. 


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact us.

Free items

Occasionally, we will include a free, randomly selected item in with your order. Where your whole order is refunded and you send back all the items to us, please make sure the free item is also returned and unopened. Where a partial refund is issued for some items in your order, you can keep the free item.
